Long reverberation time in homes resolved with absorption materials
Acoustic consultant Wesley noted that the reverberation time in this house was very long. The acoustic test stated that almost forty per cent of the floor area needed to be equipped with absorption materials.
After consultation with the customer, it was decided to combine ceiling islands with PET felt from the sister company EASYfelt. The ceiling islands are aligned with the house and are mounted at the same height as the lower part of the house. In the middle space, a PET felt City Map is displayed, showing the view from the house!
These solutions are not only very aesthetic but also improve the acoustics in the house.
