Ceiling islands in LEV Foodbar
Lev foodbar in Doetinchem has contacted us through their architect to improve the acoustics.
The reverberation measurement
The echo was quite high and both the guest and the staff were affected by it. After the initial contact, we made an appointment with LEV Foodbar to assess the acoustics.
On location, we first discussed the acoustic issue with the client. Subsequently, we conducted a reverberation measurement. We can review the results on-site and process them in our software. This allows us to provide tailored advice on how much absorption we need to add to the space and in what application and solution.
Acoustic solution
After the echo measurement, we looked at what acoustic solutions we could implement. We then consider what an effective solution is and also what fits nicely in the space. The balance must be right.
Together with the client and the architect, we have created a nice distribution, which effectively addresses the acoustics. We based our design on the EASY ceiling islands in white, as the walls could not be used.
Assembly
The customer ultimately received all the information digitally. After discussion, the customer awarded EASY Noise Control the contract to provide and install the solution.
Result
The result was very good. Immediately after installation, the customer noticed a difference and was very satisfied.
